Letter of Statement

Indonesian Muslim Students Forum in Taiwan (FORMMIT) strongly condemns the barbaric and inhumane acts committed by the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar against our brothers and sisters, the Rohingya Muslims.

We demand Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to:

1. Stop all forms of violence and discrimination against the Rohingya Muslims.
2. Restitute the Rohingya Muslims’ rights to be equivalent as other Burma citizens.
3. Materially compensate for the acts of violence and discrimination as a form of accountability.

All in all, barbaric and inhuman acts of massacre and expulsion were acknowledged as inappropriate executions by the followers of any religion who love peace and promote compassion.
